It is the real music which moves one’s soul. It sends me into a trance and brings tears to my eyes. In fact it is my worship ritual to listen to Bulleh Shah, Khaja Fareed, etc., Aarifin daily, sung especially by Abida Parveen.
Btw, I was just listening to this kaafi by Bulleh Shah, but could not understand a stanza of it. I repeat it hear as I understood it. Please correct it if I am wrong:
“Mein ranjhanrh dhoondanrh chali te menoon raanjhanrh mileya naahi
Jangal dhoonde te bele take te meinoo ranjhanrh diseya naahi
Rab diseya meinoon loko te rab raanjhanrh jeya naahi”
I doubt my reading of the last sentence very much.
Dear, there is one thing which i want to ammend in this massage as “Rab milya meinoon hathan loko te rab raanjhanrh jeya naahi”.
