    After listening the audio format of Abida Parween, i think this word ‘NangRa’ just means the same for which it is actually used for in the Punjabi language.
    NangRa… means without clothes… basically linking with a nimaani state….

    Basically here, writer aapne aap nu.. kaafi nimaa ke aapne pir, khude agge arz kar rihaa hai….

    A little correction – NANGRA is derived from the composite of “Nang Namoos”. In punjabi Nang relates to nakedness but it means izzat, ijjat, sharm, etc. Nangra nimani da means actually as:
    I am nimani (someone with no place to live) and I request you to consider my fragile ijjat and sharm whatever it takes.

    In punjabi NANG and LUNG is used in the same context where someone refers to his/her izzat or sharm.
