    Friends some years ago i said to my friends that there is a singer in Pakistan about whom feels that his style,way and topics of his songs echos our Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann and one year of this they sang together in Punjabi Album “Collaborations” . Friends i m listening Abrar Ul Haq since 2000 regularly i wish Almighty give him such strength that he could put forward our Punjabi language and culture before entire word.

    great job Sohail.. some day i hope to engage myself in something that helps me connect to folk songs and our culture.. somehow this emphasis on english and western things made our own things look pale.. but they are real gold.. thanks to you for bring up such a good collection of ‘Virsa’. Punjab in Pak had been home to a lot of saints including Baba Nanak, Baba Farid, Baba Bulleh Shah and singers like Nusrat Sahib.. i guess it (spirituality) is in the “water” of Punjab, as the folks say :) great job keep it up.. and i will try and see how i can do my bit (inspired a lot by you of course)..
