    Baba Farid uddin Chishty is a muslim saint; who propagated ISLAM in this sub-contenant. The sikh community also believes in Baba Fariduddin Shakkar Jang’s believes then; “WHY DOESN’T THE SIKH COMMUNITY BELIEVE IN ISLAM ?” Is therre anybody here, give me the answer of this question, please.     This is an answer to Abdul Raseed Khokhar. Not only sikh community, but all punjabis irrespective of their religion believes in not just Baba Farid but other muslim/sufi poets like Buleh Shah,Waris Shah etc. from this land of PUNJAB. I am a hindu but I respect Islam as I respect other religions too. It is not the religion but our language and common history (sanjaha virsa) that connects people of this land.

    Abdul Rasheed janab, if you study Sikh/khalsa, you will find a lot resemblence with Shia Muslims, Guru Gibind Singh wrote Dasham Granth in Persian/Farsi.

    To mr.A R Khokhar.I dont understand from where this question rised in your mind, to sikhs to believe in islam.Is islam so week that if sikhs dont believe in it, islam will abolish in air, what a pity.
    sikhs and sikhism is full grown tree, we dont want any other helping hand. but we fully know to whom we have to pay respect and whom we dont have to.we pay respect to each religion but have faith only in one ie sikhism. so get washed. it is our language and lands that unite us.Music is way to worship, so please rule out any doubts and stay happy.

    You can’t generalize which religion is good. Only an individual is good or bad, though gurbani says Hum nahin change bura na koi. In islam if own 7.5 tolas of gold or 20 tolas of silver you are suppose to give 1/40 of it as jaikat and khairat how many muslims do this mr. A. R. KHOKHAR?
