Huma Safdar

Huma Safdar is an arts painter/art teacher/actor and theater director, she is actively involved in the alternative theater movement in Lahore, she has directed dozens of school plays which were based on classical Punjabi literature and worked with non actors to produce masterly performances. Huma is a director/treasurer of Chitrkar board and leads the three weeks workshop for children each summer . She is also part of a ‘contemporary literature readings series’ being recorded at Chitrkar.
