But the ‘khusboo’ of the land of their birth was kept fresh in their mind and passed on to us. Listening to Bhatti Saheb gave body to anecdotes from them (since deceased). A play still runs in Prithvi Theatre in Bombay tittled, you gessed it, “Jis Lahore Nahin Vekhya O Jamiya hi Nai”.
