Mohammad Bakhsh was a master Punjabi lyricist. This book-length poem is apparently about the journey of a prince in search of his love but it’s the Sufi wisdom dispersed throughout the book that attracts the masses. Hundreds of couplets from this book are used as proverbs in this region (Kashmir, Jhelum, Rawalindi, Chakwal).

Its good transliteration but there are some mistakes there.
Maybe the person who transliterated it was not fully aware of Punjabi so he missed some words and transliterated in English in a way that changed the meaning.
For example the actual words are MAKAN KHALI and not makan hali
