This is one of my most favorite Shiv Kumar Batalvi poems. It is said he wrote it on the death-bed looking at the trees outside the window. I don’t know if that’s true or not but the poem is nevertheless beautiful.

    There is no difference in human and nature beings. Trees are like our near and dear ones. They have all the basic life stuff as we have. Aptly, portrayed by Shiv Kumar in his poem.
