    What a beautiful rendering of a great poem; in an inviting tempo, the excellent choice of the right classical Raag. I have the greatest admiration for Mian Sheheryar for giving us listeners moments of joyful mood.

    It is a not a KAFI (for those who consider Kafi more with spiritual connotations). The great poet Khawaja Farid,s poetry is taken to be always a Kafi, which is not correct. He has written Kafis, poems,geets,ghazals and Hori also.

    It is a masterly description of the pleasant rainy season which comes purely in the imagination of a girl in love who is sitting in dry desert. It is to lure the beloved who has gone away leaving her alone.
